Allen Berger, PhD | Dr. Berger is a talented psychotherapist and considered by most the leading authority on emotional sobriety. His pioneering efforts in understanding emotional sobriety has helped us understand the critical role emotional sobriety plays in optimal recovery. Dr. Berger is also a popular recovery author who has written extensively about the experience of recovery, the important topic of emotional sobriety, integrating modern psychotherapy and the 12 Steps, the psychological forces operating in the 12 Steps, and the psychological forces that undermine recovery.

Chris Stretch | Chris Stretch was a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a psychotherapy practice in the South Bay of California. Chris’s own personal journey in recovery provides a heartfelt foundation for his clinical work and lecture. Chris worked with adolescents and addicts in recovery, and also spoke at conferences and in the local community on topics related to addiction and health.

Herb Kaighan | Herb received the gift of freedom from alcohol February 21, 1984. In 1988, as the result of completing the Twelve Steps ‘precisely’ in the book Alcoholic Anonymous, he experienced the Spiritual Awakening. His journey includes seven years in seminary, a graduate education in psychology, and, in 1990, completion of a three year program for Certification as a Spiritual Director. He has written three books on the spiritual journey: Practicing the Here and Now: Being Intentional with Step 11, Twelve-Step Guide to Using the Alcoholics Anonymous Big Book and Twelve Steps to Spiritual Awakening: Enlightenment for Everyone.
